Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The Nursing Assistant Training Program is a 100 Instructional hour course. A 3-week course in length, which provides clinical training and classroom setting. We offer both morning (Monday through Friday 7:00 A.M. till 3:30 P.M.) which is a 3-week course and evening classes (Monday through Thursday 5:00 P.M. till 9:30 P.M.) which is a 7-week course. The type of CNA training we offer includes videos, lectures, laboratory practices, and also students attend a clinical site. Upon successful completion of the course, the trainee will receive a CNA certification.
The trainee is then eligible to take the State Examination to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Career Opportunities: Nursing Assistant (CNA) can find employment in hospitals, ambulatory care and outpatient facilities, long term care homes, clinics, physicians’ offices, hospice care, rehabilitation centers and in home care settings with an agency or as private duty.
Phlebotomy Technician Program
The Phlebotomy Technician Program is a 100 Instructional hour course. A 3-week course in length for the day program which are from Monday through Friday 7:00 A.M. till 3:30 P.M. Evening course is a 7-week course that is from Monday through Thursday 5:00 P.M. till 9:30 P.M. We also offer a Saturday only course that runs for 13 Saturdays from 7:00 A.M. till 3:30 P.M. Students will learn how to safely and effectively draw blood using a capillary puncture and venipuncture. Aspiring Phlebotomists will receive hands-on phlebotomy training, while learning proper infection control practices. To receive a certification each student must have 40 successful venipuncture and 10 successful capillaries during phlebotomy training. Upon successful completion of the course, the trainee will receive a certificate of completion. The trainee is then eligible to take the National Certification Examination to become a phlebotomist.
Phlebotomy Refresher Program
Are you looking to refresh your skills as a phlebotomist? This course provides students who have completed an up-to date phlebotomy procedure. In this course, students will refresh their skills as a phlebotomist and practice blood draw techniques. This eighth day class includes classroom learning and simulation labs that cover venipuncture, specimen collection, safety and universal precautions, body system and etc.

CPR, First-Aid, Blood-Borne Pathogen Training
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving technique useful in many emergencies, including a heart attack or near drowning experience in which someone breathing, or heartbeat has stopped.

Basic Life Training (BLS)
BLS is defined as the level of medical care which is offered to patients suffering from life threatening diseases or injuries before and during the time they are shifted to higher level of treatment.
Traffic Flagger Certification
Our Traffic Flagger Certification course is a crucial training for work zone professionals responsible for flagging operations. This course thoroughly covers flagging procedures, emphasizing the dos and don’ts for flaggers to ensure maximum safety for both workers and motorists.
Spanning four hours, this intensive training session is scheduled every Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Participants will engage in both theoretical and practical learning, equipping them with the expertise to manage and direct traffic effectively while maintaining a safe work environment.
Security Guard Card Certification (unarmed)
This is an 8 hour class (1 day) that goes over all the basics about the Security Industry and how to be a Security Officer. It also covers all the laws pertaining to the security industry in CT, all the state laws governing self defense and use of force,. We cover the use of force continuum, fire safety, the history of security, work place violence, terrorism, fire safety, communication skills, and many other aspects of the security industry.
Training takes place every Friday 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM

8 hour Safe Driving Course
Our 8-Hour Safe Driving Course, also known as the Drug and Alcohol Safety Course, meets and exceeds Connecticut’s minimum driver education requirements. This comprehensive program is expertly designed to equip new drivers with crucial knowledge and skills for responsible driving, emphasizing the importance of safety and awareness on the road. Enroll now to fulfill your state obligations and become a more informed, cautious driver.
ServSafe Certification
This certification is an 8 hour course may be done via Zoom or in person. Food safety course will teach you proper food handling practices that will protect your food-service operation. As many as 582 million people experience food-borne diseases every year. Hence, food safety is extremely important to food-related businesses of any size.
This course will ensure when working with food, you are able to prevent foodborne illness, contamination, allergic reactions and the spread of disease.
Classes are held every Friday.
